Chapter 12: Lola to the Rescue.
Lola could see the pack of wolves on the other side. She ran over towards the ledge and stared down at the river that was flowing frantically. Dopey popped his head up for some air but the waves dragged him under again. "Hel..."said Dopey as he choked on some water. Lola dived into the river and swam towards Dopey. The waves pushed her down, in no time she reached Dopey and gripped hold of him with her fangs. Lola tried to paddle back but the current was really strong. "Dopey we need to work together wake up!" Lola muffled. Lola looked back to find that the river was vanishing. A crashing sound rumbled behind them, sounding like a rocket taking off into space. "Dopey...wake up," Lola panicked, "we're heading for a waterfall." Dopey suddenly woke up seeing Lola by his side. "Lola what are you doing... I mean why you helping me." "It's because I am kind hearted, now swim to shore or we are going to drop over the edge." Dopey nodded and they both started to paddle faster and faster gradually getting closer to the shore. Finally the two wolves made it out of the river and shook all the access of water off their fur. "Thank you Lola." "That's alright Dopey." The captain was furious for what had happened, "Why do you always interfere? We will meet again Lola and when we do I will destroy you all!" The captain took his pack through the gloomy forest. Lupa looked back giving her sister an evil stare. Lola turned her head ignoring her sister's attitude. Lola stared at Dopey with an evil look in her eyes. "Why you looking at me like that, I will never go back there, is it alright if I stay with you? Dopey begged. "Good answer Dopey, of course you can but you will have to stay with my friends Rupert and the assassin." "Will they accept me?" "Well it's up to them to choose but if not then we can go somewhere else." The two friends made their way back to Rupert's and the assassin's hideout. Half way through the forest the trees were up rooted, boulders smashed and no beautiful flowers, all was left behind was a path of destruction but Dopey doesn't know that Lola had coursed all this. "How did you survive the tornado Lola?" "Can you keep a secret?" "Yes anything." "Well..." Before she could tell Dopey, the assassin saw them approaching towards the hideout. "Lola! Why have you brought that traitor to the hideout?" "Well when I was training with you I sensed that Dopey was in trouble. The captain threw Dopey into the river. So that's why I finished the training to go and help him. Now he's asking if he could join us...if that's okay with you," Lola begged. "I don't know it's just too risky taking him in, what if he takes information back to his captain." the assassin explained. "He's alright. He made a promise to me that he would never go back there. He's here to apologise for what he did." Dopey bowed his head down. "Sorry sir for hurting you in battle but if you don't want me here then finish me off because captain wanted to kill me, when he found out I wanted to join your team." Lola focused her energy and managed to send her thoughts to the assassin's mind. The assassin saw everything from when Dopey was chucked into the river to Lola saving Dopey and that captain said that he's going to destroy everyone. "Well...he can stay but you are responsible for his mistakes Lola," the assassin said clearly. "Thank you," Lola said while chocking under her breath. Dopey bowed his head to the assassin, "Thank you." When Lola showed Dopey the hideout, the assassin was telling Rupert about Lola. "Rupert...Lola had learnt lots of stuff on her own, I am getting worried about her and maybe we should stop the training." Rupert spoke inside his heart, "Maybe our training is working. She must have listened well about expanding her energy, so I say we will keep the training going." "Okay but what about Dopey." "He can train with Lola. You can't judge a book by its cover." Rupert went over to Lola and Dopey. "Lola it's time to train. If you want...Dopey can join in as well because he is with us." "Yes please it would be great to train with another wolf by my side, is that alright Dopey." "I would love to train by the side of you my lady, Dopey smiled.
The two friends stepped outside to begin their training. "Alright you two I want you Lola to show Dopey how to focus your energy. Then Dopey I want you to copy," Rupert to them clearly so that they knew exactly what to do. Lola focused her energy by resting her body letting the wind sway around her. She could feel the energy circulating around. She then unleashed the energy making her paw glow up. "This is my new technique I've named wind cyclone. Now it's your turn Dopey. First focus then expand your energy." Dopey closed his eyes and he could feel the energy flowing through his blood streams. He focused the energy building the energy up and then expanded. The power was immense, his fur spiked up and the light was bringing out hot red energy seeping out through his skin. Everyone looked shocked of how much energy was coming out.
Dopey now joined Rupert's team and is now training with Lola. What is happening to Dopey? Lots of energy is seeping out and no one had seen this power before.
