Chapter 7: History of the Magic Wand
"The magical wand was made by eight mages; they were fire, water, nature, lightning, wind, earth, light and dark. They did this by combining all their power inside a black dull wand that was very weak, by the time they finished, the wand was sparkling new and could do any of the mages spells. The night after, the wand was stolen. It was given to the hands of the Dark Demon. We knew we had to destroy him or get rid of the wand for good, so I made an army march into battle to stop the Demon. My army went down one by one. I saw a Sagittarius battling it out against the Dark Demon. I had a chance to retrieve the wand before he cast another spell. I bolted down focusing onto the wand. The Demon raised the magic wand above his head. The light became a light red meaning that the Demon was about to cast a fire spell. The Demon's hand came down aiming at the Sagittarius. I managed to grab the wand with my teeth in time and dropped the wand into the nearest river. When I was on my way back to the battlefield, the Demon had called his dragon and escaped. Now the Dark Demon has found an Excalibur that holds the power of sound. We need to stop him at all cost before another war begins," Yuna said softly.
Jasmine focused her eyes onto the wand. "I don,t know any magic, somehow the wand just magically worked for me." "That's because the wand has been trained to help others who are in danger that are our kind. The wand is yours now, so you will have to learn some spells to become a Mage. That's if you want too little girl." Jasmine thought very hard about the choice. "Maybe if I become a Mage I could help Yuna, Ragz and everyone else in Pandora but I'll be risking my life at war. I also need to save mother." Jasmine took a deep breath and then told princess Yuna what her plan was. Yuna was shocked by her choice but she still went with it. Okay little girl, if you want to become a Mage, then come with me, back to my castle to train with one of my best mages. We better get going before the snake and scorpion decides to return." Yuna pulled herself from the floor and Jasmine climbed onto Yuna's back. Yuna galloped around in circles getting enough speed to catch the breeze under her wings to raise her up off the ground. The unicorns muscles in her legs became strong again; she leaped into the air, while flapping her feathery wings gradually getting closer to the exit above.
Jasmine managed to escape from the cave with princess Yuna's help. Jasmine helped Yuna with a magical wand that frightened the creatures away with a flash, it also healed the unicorn's wounds. Jasmine is going to the castle of Pandora to be trained by a powerful Mage and will Jasmine be able to pass the test?
