To start off with she's been begging me to dress up and go to this party she's hosting. It's a celebration for Dads new promotion,he's only moved from working at the kennels to assistant manager but she'll find any reason to throw a party. I'm happy for dad he never liked looking at those poor selfless pups behind bars; being a dog himself he can't stand cages but he comforts the animals and it's what he likes best-even if he hates it. Anyway as I've mentioned I'm not one for playing dress up unlike my Mum but I do love Dad and a good party, but I choose who I want to accompany me and she wasn't at all happy with who I chose. My best friend Harry who has been my best friend since I stood up for him in primary and scared those brutal, cruel bullies away after they taunted him for being smelly and poor, and of course I've never let a bully get away with that as long as I was around! Since then me and Harry have been inseperable- not in that way either! I mean best friend inseperable. Anyways Mum's fond of Harry and his family(his Mum Sarah and younger sister Erin) she said she's glad I found a friend and his Mum is forever round round my house discussing things with my Mum over a cup of tea, so I dont see why Harry can't come with me to her stupid party!? Apparently she wants me to attend with a more 'suitable' partner, basically somebody who I won't like and is more 'fancy' than Harry! I'd be more comfortable attending with Harry simply because of the fact I've known him for 7 years and practically spend everyday with him. I want to go to Dads party but not with Eric. He's sweet and all but boring, all he talks about is sport and as much as a love running and athletic sports I don't have a fancy for football and ESPN programmes...
Here comes Mum now probably trying to make a deal with me.
