Mellie scooped up her little sibling Lou Lou and they went out the front door. Joey was already outside, still in his pajamas. The sun warmed Mellie's skin as she stepped proudly onto the dew covered grass. Eager to begin searching for Easter eggs LouLou started to squirm and giggle, begging Mel to set her down. Mel gave in and let the toddler have her way. Excitement and joy was in the air, and LouLou was on a mission.
"Mellie did you hide the eggs?!"
"Of course I did!" She made sure he knew the eggs were waiting for LouLou. The little toddler wanted to find herself some pretty eggs, but so far she'd had no luck. She wasn't giving up though, she was determined to find some eggs.
"How do you think LouLou is doing?" Mellie asked, while sipping her iced tea and eating a bagel with strawberry cream cheese on top.
"Honestly Mel, you worry too much. She's in the yard searching for Easter eggs. What do you possibly think could go wrong?"
Then they heard little cry of surprise, then one of terror. A loud high pitched shriek filled the garden with fear. The two raced to find the screams source. Screamed LouLou's name, desperate to find their loving little sister. LouLou wasn't anywhere though. Too bad they didn't know where she went, but I do. Because I took her.
