"I never left." He said again, "Why don't we just go see the house?" he asked Lilly hopefully, and she nodded in agreement. They started up a grassy hill that shadowed the glowing land below it. "So, you say you didn't even notice the house last night?" Her father questioned curiously.
"No, so I went to that stupid barn." Lilly responded angrily. "By the way, you owe me a doughnut, and some hot chocolate!" She laughed.
"Fine, do you see it now?" Her Dad raised his eyebrows at her. Again in a silent agreement She nodded. It was massive, its luminescent windows like eyes, and the door a mouth ready to eat the next living thing to attempt entry. Out of nowhere the garage door started opening, and it wasn't a possibility that the wind had anything to do with it, or electronic error because it was an old fashioned garage that you have to lift yourself. She froze cold, and then all of their cousins spilled from its mouth. Her face flooded with relief.
"Hey! Uncle Robert!!! Hi Lilly, you want me to show you the house?!" Millie shouted that last part to know one in particular. Lilly nodded, and Millie took her hand, leading Lilly to the front door.
