Lilly's eyes flew open, and in a second she felt that something was definitely unmistakably wrong. Her father was no longer among her presence in the front seat. Terrified she jerked the back door open and stumbled to the muddy ground. The rocky earth dug into her knees, and she got up angrily. Frustration show on her beautiful face while she wondered around the property. Overly mad Lilly trudged forward, the clouds were building up. Wind lashed at the few scrawny trees that decorated the dry field, and screamed at Lilly in it's shrill whistle. She new she couldn't get back up to the pickup truck before the storm really kicked in, so she had two options, find shelter or get pelted. Without even considering it se hose the first one. Ahead of her an old-fashioned red barn leaned against the wind. She bolted in it's direction with extreme urgency. Lilly flung herself at it, trying to open the doors. Finally the doors swung open wide with a creak. Instantly cold drenched her, it froze her to the bone and she slumped down against a wall. Sleep came to her while she listened to the whistling of the retched wind.
