Simon was a particular cat. He did some of this, and he did some of that.
His coat was a shade of most glorious ginger,
Wherever he went his essence would linger!
Not bound by restrictions Or stuck in a house, Simon was free to pounce on a mouse.
Now all of the freedom, this ginger cat had,
Made Simon quite glum, And sometimes quite sad!
So to get himself back to being 'top cat',
He did some of this, and he did some of that!
