Hey guys, Here is chapter 18 of AN ANGEL IN HELL. Sorry it's so short.
Chapter 18: Jane Is he-? I woke to a faint humming. I knew the tune from somewhere, but where?... That was it. The tune to marry you by Bruno mars. I sat up to find Lucifer sat on the bottom of the bed, humming the tune. “One and a half days babe” I didn’t need to be told what that meant, it was Lucas’s deadline. Wait… babe. Did he seriously just call me babe? “Sure did babe” he said like he had read my thoughts. “What happened? My arm, my shoulder, my ribs?” I asked surprised. “Shhh. You need to rest! I’ve mended them for you. Shhh” What was going on? Did he just shhh me? I started to get up but he grabbed my waist and pulled me back down. “You need to stay here and keep calm” What was he- oh no. oh god no. It all came flooding back to me, Lucas. Lucifer had gone to see Lucas and now he was telling me to keep calm. “What happened to Lucas?” I almost screamed “Calm down princess. I have some bad news” My heart stopped “Lucas Is dead” for a minute everything stopped. My hearing went fuzzy and my eye sight darkened until everything went black. The last thing I remembered was Lucifer grabbing hold of my shoulders to stop me from falling. When I woke Lucifer was still there. He just sat there staring at me with his dark black eyes. “Are you ok darling?” I didn’t answer. I couldn’t. My eyes filled with tears and I cried. Every few seconds I screamed out Lucas’s name. Lucifer moved next to me and hugged me. He let me fall asleep again against his shoulder When I woke for the third time Lucifer had fell asleep next to me. What had I done? I was such a traitor, Lucas died and I moved onto the devil. What was I? I got up. “Not going to stay?” Lucifer asked opening one eye. “I… I…” He cut me off “You were just going to come back” he said and I did so. What was I doing? “Now sleep” I lay down and fell asleep again with Lucifer’s hand around my waist.
