Hey guys, This is the second to last chapter so enjoy.
Chapter 26: Lucas Home please I heard an evil laugh. Jane’s head shot up and she looked around until she spotted Lucifer. She smiled. “Lucifer darling” She called. Was she acting or had Lucifer somehow found a way to make her love him again? “I was looking for you. Lucas wanted to ask you something” She ran to him, hugged him and stood behind him. Her gaze directed at me. “Lucas” Lucifer bellowed “What do you want?” Now what? You want to get me out of here. Jane mouthed. “I’ve come to collect my side of the deal” I shouted. Lucifer grinned “I don’t think that is possible. What makes you think that she’ll go with you?” Please Jane you better be acting. “Well it’s up to her” I replied “Jane?” Lucifer asked. Jane stepped forward and faced Lucifer. She looked terrified. “Lucifer-” He cut her off by trying to kiss her, he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in. She slapped him. His jaw dropped and he raised his eyebrows as she pulled away. I smiled. She loved me, not him. “I want to go with Lucas” Anger flashed in his eyes. “You’re not allowed to love him, I forbid you. You have to love me” He grabbed her wrist tightly until she cried out in pain. “Don’t touch her” I shouted. It was more of a beg. “Here we are again Lucas. A choice must be made but this time it won’t be her that has to choose, it will be you” “What do you mean?” I shouted, my eyes were staring at his grip on Jane. He wouldn’t hurt her, would he? “You choose her she dies. You don’t choose her she lives” He clarified and I gasped. What do I do now? All of a sudden a cry of pain filled the room. It was Lucifer. Jane had bitten him and she was running to me. I grabbed her and she clung to my side. “Feisty” he said seductively. “I choose Jane, Lucifer. I will always choose Jane” Lucifer flashed his large, ugly fangs and pushed out his hand. Jane and I went flying backwards and into the wall. I hit my head and it started to bleed. “Lucas” Jane cried. She stared into my eyes, tears of worry slid down her face. “Now Jane come here.” She ignored Lucifer and continued to stare into my eyes. “I said come here Jane” She was suddenly being dragged back by… nothing. There was nothing there. Her screams and struggles only filled me with dread. Lucifer wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek. I wanted him to get off her. She was mine. “Get off me” She screamed. I tried to get up and save her but I was pinned to the floor. “Can’t save her now, can you?” He shouted over to me. I struggled to get up but the pain in my head was too much...
Jane’s P.O.V His hands were around me and I couldn’t move. I needed a way out of this. He started to kiss me passionately, I remained motionless. “Come on darling, give in. I know you love me” I really didn’t. That’s it! I needed to surrender to Lucifer to get out. But what about Lucas? I needed to get out of this. I kissed Lucifer gently, until he let go of me. He was too concentrated on the kiss to notice he’d even let me go. That’s when I jumped up and ran. I grabbed Lucas’s hand. He was on the edge of death. “Jane?” he whispered “Lucas.” I cried “I love you” “I love you too Lucas” Lucas hissed in pain and then became unconscious. I turned to Lucifer “Please, I’ll do whatever you want. Just save him” Lucifer shook his head. “Please. I beg you. I’ll do anything” “Why should I help him?” He hissed “Because he’s your son. Because I love him. If you really love me then you will help him.” Lucifer bit his lip. He walked across the room before placing a hand on Lucas. Lucas gasped for air. “Lucas.” I exclaimed. I found myself turning to Lucifer “Thank you” “Lucas, I love you” I kissed Lucas “I love you too Jane” Lucas replied. Lucifer hissed and walked away. “Get out!” He screamed, he was letting us go? “Use that door, but get out” He pointed to a door that I hadn’t noticed before. I pulled Lucas up and we ran “Jane?” Lucifer called. I turned around. “I’ll be back and next time I’ll make sure he doesn’t go near you” Was that meant to be romantic? I grabbed Lucas’s hand and ran through the door. I could live with Lucas. I could love Lucas. I could marry Lucas. “You sure can Jane” I smiled as we went home will my one true love.
