Chapter 26 I woke up in Damien’s arms. He was incredibly warm and there wasn’t an inch between us. It was the last day of the holiday in America and it had been weeks since I had been kidnaped. My life with Damien went on as normal, if you can call our relationship normal. Sam and Damien had become like best friends and Sam was in a stable relationship with Jessica. They kissed more than us. I stretched out a little and tried not to wake Damien, It didn’t work. Darn, he looked so sweet when he slept. “Morning best girlfriend ever” He said with a smile. “Morning best boyfriend ever” I replied, he laughed and kissed me softly on the lips. “Do you think your family will ever bother us again?” “No. If they do they will end up like brad. I can’t lose you again” He whispered. “Can I ask you something?” “Yeah” “Why me? Why go to so much trouble for me?” He smiled. Ok… Was this good? “You really wanna know why?” I giggled at his smile. He was so happy! I nodded “Because I think your my soul mate. Actually no. I know you’re my soul mate. You’re pretty, you make me feel right. And Christine?” He sat up and pulled me up with him. “I was going to wait a little longer but I think this is the right time” I was confused. He got up off of the bed and pulled me off too. Damien got on one knee. OH MY GOD! “Christine I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Please will you marry me?” I took a deep breath and kneeled down in front of him before kissing him so much. Wait… I didn’t say yes! “YES! YES! YES!” Damien smiled and kissed me. I pulled him on top of me on the floor, kissing him. “Wow, guys. There is a bed” Said Sam. I blushed and Damien pulled me up to a sitting position. “And in the morning? Come on guys” I giggled and covered my face with my hands. “So Mrs Damien. What the hell are you going to say to your mum?” I had never thought of that. “Oh I’m dead, but you know what I’m going to die happy” Damien smiled at me and pulled me into his lap. Jessica walked in and laughed. “Gosh. Have I totally missed something?” “Yes” Sam laughed and put his arm around Jessica. “Anyone wanna fill me in?” She asked. Long story. “I’ll tell you later” Sam said softly laughing. My phone started to ring so I got up and answered it. “Hello?” “Hi” Mum? Oh my god “You’re coming back today, aren’t you?” She asked “I am” “Good” “Hey, mum I need you to meet someone when I get back” I said. “Sure honey who?” Well this was going to be easy. “You’ll find out” I giggled quietly, hoping to god she wouldn’t hear it. I think she did. “I’ll see you later. Love you, bye” She sounded excited. “Bye” I ended the call and everyone looked at me. “What?” “You seem a little too happy, at the thought of telling your mum that you’re getting married” Sam laughed “Yeah I am. Am I not allowed to be excited? I’m getting married” I squeaked. “Hold up. You’re getting married?!” Jessica’s jaw was dropping. “I am” She freaked out! “Oh my gosh. Congratulations” She hugged me tightly. “Thanks Jess” I giggled. “I get to meet her. Good” Damien laughed. “It’s like a totally happy beginning” Jessica laughed. “It is isn’t it?” Damien got up and kissed me softly. I knew we were going to be happy for a long time…
