Chapter 16 "Two guesses. Where are we going?" Jake asked, smirking. It had got to 10AM when he decided he was getting up. I didn't want him to, it was warm with him there, but I guess we had to get up eventually. "Its not somewhere really dodgy is it?" I asked him. "No" Where could he possibly be taking me? I thought of some places, but decided not to ask him because I didn't want to get it wrong. "I seriously don't have a clue" "You'll find out soon enough, I suppose" I smiled. "But, I do have a little confession to make" "What?" "It doesn't really start until tonight" So... He made me stay off school for nothing? I can't keep doing this. "So where are we going now?" I asked. "To see a few friends of mine" I didn't really wanna meet his friends... I mean he is like 'head bad boy' or whatever you call him so he has lots of delinquent friends.... Maybe I should tell him I don't want to. But then I'd seem weak. So.... I'm going? "Ok" We parked up outside a house. It was a pretty big house compared to the others on the street. Maybe his friends wouldn't be so bad... "Coming?" He asked when he got out of the car. "Yeah" I got out and followed him into the house. He let himself in. The house was immaculate inside, new carpet, freshly painted walls... "Jake" A man shouted, from the top of the stairs. "How've you been?" "Leo!! I've been great man. You?" Since when did Jake talk like this? It wasn't like him at all. "Great man" The man looked at me and winked. "Who's the pretty chick?" "This is Katie" Jake told the man. He smirked at me when Jake wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close. "Nice to meet you. Call me Leo" "Hi Leo" I smiled. "Guys! Jake's got a girl. Get your butts outta there" Four muscular men came half running out of the kitchen. "Dude she's hot" One stated. "Yeah. Really cute" Another said. "Do you think she's single?" Jake stopped me from answering. "No she's not. She's mine" Jake wrapped his arms around my neck from behind. He rested his chin on my shoulder and our cheeks were touching. His? Like his girlfriend? "Since when have you had a proper girlfriend Jake?" One of the boys laughed. "Since now" "Katie. Let me introduce you to these four. This is Perry, Jack, Damon and Kurt" Leo told me. Perry had short brown hair and light brown eyes. Damon also had short brown hair, but instead of brown eyes, he had light blue ones. Jack was, in my opinion, handsomest one of them all. His hair was jet black and he had iridescent green eyes. And, finally, there was Kurt. He looked like a typical school bad boy, blonde hair, blue eyes and a six pack that I could see through his shirt. "Hi" I smiled. "When you get fed up of him, come find me, yeah?" Jack said. Not happening. "She won't get fed up of me. Nobody ever does" "She could do a whole lot better" Perry laughed. Jake let go of me and ran for him. Perry ran into the kitchen and the other boys followed. "Get him Jake" They shouted "Yeah. Kick him" Why were they encouraging jake to hurt their friend? What was with them? "Guys! My dad will kill me if you break anything. Take it outside" Leo shouted. I saw Jake grab the back of Perry's shirt and throw him out of the open kitchen door. Leo breathed a quick sigh of relief before joining the others, shouting. "Oh my god" I whispered under my breath as Jake punched him in the stomach. Perry was losing, badly. I would be surprised if he didn't go to hospital after this. "Ok. Ok. Ok. I know. Don't insult Katie. Don't insult you" Perry cried. Jake dropped him on the floor. "Even if you deserve it" He laughed. Jake kicked him and the boy groaned in pain. Ha! He deserved that one. Jake walked back into the house and stood by me, looking fairly pleased with himself. "Anyone got anything else to say?" Jake asked. Everyone shook their heads "Good. Can I actually trust you guys to not touch her while I talk to Leo? You know what will happen if you do" He wrapped his arm around me and squeezed my body tight. "Shout me if they even look at you the wrong way. Ok, Katie?" I nodded. Jake let go of me and went, with Leo, closing the door behind him. "Is Jake always like that to you guys?" I asked. The three of them shook their heads. "Oh" "How long you been dating him again?" Oh shoot. How was I supposed to answer this? "Errr.... Few weeks" I don't think I'd even know him a few weeks. I'd heard of him but not actually met him. "Weeks?" Kurt asked. "Yeah" I replied "Guys.... Jakes in love" Kurt announced. No. No. No. No. No. Jake was not in love. Jake was just making sure they didn't try to kiss me or something while he was in the other room. "Yeah... I think he is" Jack laughed. "What? He's not-" "He's in love alright" Perry growled cutting me off. He had just walked back into the room. I guess he hadn't come in with the rest of us. He looked so angry. His face had lots of cuts on his face and his clothes were covered in mud. Blood was dripping slowly from his lip and he had a black eye. Jake.... Did... That? "Jesus. Is that what he did to your face?" Kurt gawped,shocked. "Yeah. The Jerk!" Perry shouted. "Don't say that! He's in the other room and his girlfriend is in here" Damon hissed. I wouldn't tell Jake, but I did want to know what they thought of him. Perry gave them all a look "I certainly don't want to fight him" "I will" God. This guy is such an idiot! "I'll fight him all day if I have to" Jake would kill him if they fought again. "You know you really are stupid" I burst out. "I mean no offence, but Jake has just beaten you up and you want to go and fight him again?" All the boys looked at me. "Stop being an idiot!" Perry stood still, glaring at me. He was trying to think of a way to respond. "Ugh" He growled before storming off. Katie 1, Perry 0. I don't think anyone knew what to say. They just sat down, occasionally asking me questions. At least 10 minutes passed before Jake returned. He wrapped his arms around my neck and put his lips to my ear. "Did they say anything or do anything to you?" He whispered and I shook my head. I wasn't going to tell him about 'the Perry incident'. He nodded and kissed me quickly on the lips. Leo and the other boys smirked at me and Jake. "How about we leave?" Jake suggested, quietly in my ear. I got up. Not that I didn't like them, but I wanted to spend more time with Jake "We should leave. Bye guys" "Bye" They replied. We got out of there and drove off...

Phew! That took a while to write. Don't get me wrong, I loved writing it, but it makes you tired. Trust me. So..... What did you think about this chapter? Good? Bad? Not as much Jake in this. Sorry, I know how much you like him. There's more of him in the next chapter. He's taking her on a date, remember?
