Hey guys, How are you? Here's the next chapter of MOONLIGHT DARKNESS.
Chapter 4 Later on that day, it was 8:58. Somehow all my stuff from my room was suddenly in my safe house room, including my mobile. Matthew wouldn’t tell me how. Either magic or he robbed my room, most likely robbed my room. I was sat on the couch with Matthew. We sat at opposite ends. He was smiling at me. “You know I don’t mind if you sit next to me” I said. There was a really big please in the smile I gave afterwards… “I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable in any way” He replied. It makes me uncomfortable for him not to be here. “I really don’t mind” “So you want me to sit closer to you?” I wasn’t going to lie. “Yes” I admitted. Matthew moved a little closer to me. Ok… I admit it…. I wanted Matthew more than I ever wanted anyone. But he was an angel, wasn’t it against what they were if I wanted to be with him. Did he have to go after Alonzo was gone? “Still feel comfortable?” “Yep” He moved closer “Still feeling comfortable” He moved even closer to me, he was two inches away from me. I smiled “I want you to sit there” “Good because I want to sit here” I gave him a ‘really?’ look “I want to protect you. Guardian angel. I guard you and your wishes” Maybe I should just come right out and say it. My wish was him. I wanted him. “Matthew I like you and I want to go out with you” Oh my gosh “Oh my gosh I’m so sorry. Just forget that. I-” I got up, hiding my face and sped towards the hallway door. Go upstairs. Hide. Don’t come down. Just bury your head in the pillows. “Wait” Matthew stood up, grabbed my wrist and pulled me back to him. “Sorry I have to go” He pulled me close to him and kissed me. I grabbed onto his arms and held on tightly. “I did say I wasn’t going to do that again Didn’t I? Really sorry” “Don’t apologize” “Maybe I should let you go to bed” “Sure… Sorry” “Amy?” He said softly. Was he going to kiss me again? Please… “Yes?” “Goodnight” “Goodnight Matthew” I tiptoed up the stairs and into my new room. Matthew…. I woke up at about 2:30 to the sounds of my phone ringing. I looked at the screen. Unknown number. Who calls at this time in the morning? Really? What idiot would do that? I didn’t want to wake Matthew in the other room so I answered it. “Who is this? Why are you calling so early? There’s this thing called sleep-try it” “Amy!” Someone shouted down the phone. Was that Alonzo’s voice? How did he get my number? Did I want to talk to him? Could he track me? “Alonzo? Is that you?” I asked “Who else would it be?” “What do you want at 2:30 in the morning? And how did you get my number?” “Where are you? You left. I came back but you weren’t there” “I’ve… moved” “Why?” “I-I-” “You met that angel didn’t you?” I need to lie don’t I? “What angel? There’s no such thing. Now how did you get my damn number?” “Don’t lie to me Amy. I know he met you. I don’t like being lied to” “How did you get my number?” I demanded. “Tell me where you are!” “NO! Tell me how you got it” If he didn’t answer this time I was going to hang up. “I killed your friend for it” No. What friend? Who? He. Killed. Them. “I murdered her. Cut her throat and watched her suffer as the life drained out of her” I gasped down the phone line and tears sprung to my eyes. “Tell me where you are?” “Leave me alone” I begged and cried down the telephone line. “I'll never leave you alone. I’ll make you burn in hell Amy. Just watch me drag you there” He hung up. I started to breathe heavily. Matthew walked through the doorway. I was in tears. “What happened to you?” He asked, putting his arm around me and looking me in the eyes. “He killed my friend and he knows that I’m with you. He just guessed it” “He’s not going to get to you. I promise he won’t” “He said he’d make me burn in hell. He said he’d drag me there” “It’s alright. He can’t find you and even if he does I’ll protect you, forever” He said softly. I put my head onto his chest. Tears were still flooding from my eyes. “Do you think you can sleep?” I nodded “Lie down” I did and faced him. He kissed me softly and suddenly I felt drowsy. I found myself drifting off quickly…
