Hey guys, this is my favourite chapter by far.... That must just be because I'm weird. Ok but it's awesome. Enjoy and repost.
Chapter 7 9:36pm. Matthew and I sat on the couch, my head rested on his shoulder. I was really tired and I must have fallen asleep because I woke to him carrying me to bed. Matthew put me under the covers and kissed me on the head. “Stay” I whispered as he was walking out of the door. He closed the door and climbed into bed next to me. I moved over to him and he put his arm around me. I smiled in the dark. Now it felt like home… Two weeks later, Matthew and I were just waking up. We had stayed up late last night watching some horror movie that I wanted to watch. I didn’t concentrate on it much because I all I wanted to do was concentrate on Matthew, but when I did watch it I freaked out and buried my head in his chest. He told me it was fake and that nothing could happen to me and I believed him, but I loved the feeling of being close to him. It was 10:36. Matthew turned on the news to find an alert. Some 16 year old had gone missing in America. Why was the alert here? When they showed the picture I almost died. The picture was of me. Oh god. My parents must have gotten home to find me gone. Oh no. Matthew turned to me. “You can’t let them know where you are. I know they are your parents, but the less they know the better. If the fallen angels find out they have information they will kill them” He said and I sighed. “I know, it’s just they must be so upset right now and if they knew I was safe…” “I’m sorry Amy” “It’s fine, but now what do we do? I mean if the alert has gone as far as England I can’t go anywhere without being seen. If we get found they will put you in prison, they might even kill you” “I’d get out and I wouldn’t let you be left alone. Even if I couldn’t get out I’d find a way to protect you, I always have. I’m on a top 10 wanted list in new York and Australia, I got out of that to save you” There was a knock at the door. Who could that be? “Stay here I’ll be back in a second” He got out of bed and walked down the stairs. I waited 10 minutes in bed before I started to worry about Matthew. Where was he? I jumped out of bed and padded downstairs. No Matthew… He wouldn’t have left me here, would he? Suddenly a hand clasped around my mouth. I was going to scream but decided not to. Maybe it was Matthew. Maybe not. I turned my head. Alonzo. Shoot. Where was Matthew? I screamed, but Matthew didn’t come. Alonzo turned me around to face him and grabbed both my wrists. Black wings shot out from his back and I tried to back away but he wouldn’t let me. “Please don’t hurt me” He smiled and suddenly we were lifted off the ground. We shot through the roof and were high in the sky. Oh my god! I screamed. “Welcome to hell” He said and he dropped me. I screamed again but I knew I was going to die. My eyes closed and all I saw was black…
