Chapter 3: Love you.
The next day patch came by my house. It was a little past 6pm. We sat at my table, I drank a smoothie and he drank water.
"I know we've only just met but do you want to maybe go out sometime?" Patch asked smiling. Was he asking me out? Like on a date? Wow. "Yes, I'd love to" I said smiling and giggling like a little girl. "Good. I was thinking tonight if you want" "Sure. So where are we going?" "The Forrest" I'd always loved the Forrest. It was so calm and peaceful. "Awesome. I love it there" I giggled "Good" "We could go now if you want" He suggested. "Yeah. Yeah that would be awesome. Ill get my coat" "Sure" I got up and put on my electric blue converse before returning to the dining room where patch was. "Ready to go?" "Yep" patch took me out of the house and into the Forrest. "Should I be scared?" I asked as we walked through the entrance. It was really dark and I had a sudden feeling of worry. "No. I won't hurt you" I hesitated "I promise" It was weird but I believed him. "Ok" "Ok. Now take my hand" I did instantly and he started to run pulling me behind with him, fast. "Where are we going?" I asked, loudly. "You'll see. Ughhh this isn't fast enough" Patch stopped, turned around and picked me up and a bridal position before running again. I looked at his face as he ran. He moved faster and faster until he just stopped. "We're here" He said but instead of putting me down he pulled me closer into his chest and looked down at me. I didn't know where I was and I didn't really care. All I wanted was to look at him. "I don't want to put you down" "You don't have to" I said gigging. "Fine then. I think i'll hold on to you for now" I giggled and he walked slowly into the middle of a large field. "Where are we?" I asked "In the middle of the Forrest. Nobody around for miles. It would take any normal person hours to get here" He replied "What do you mean normal person? And how did we get here so fast?" "I'll tell you sometime. Just not now." I nodded. I didn't want to pry. Patch put me down on the floor and he sat cross legged in front of me. It was hard to see his face in the dark but te glittering moonlight helped. "It's dark" I said. "Yeah. I love the dark. Don't you?" "The dark is awesome" I giggled and he laughed. There was a sudden moment of silence. Patch took my hands in his own and smiled. I giggled again. He took my face in his hands and kissed me but he moved away quickly thinking I didn't want to. "Sorry" Patch whispered. "It's ok. I liked it" He smiled and placed his lips on mine again. "I think we will be seeing each other more often" He whispered into my lips. "Yes please"
