'Navajo' As night falls, the Navajo storyteller enthrals her audience of awed youngsters with tales that have been passed down through the generations. The riches of the earth gives her the power to tell of wonders of the heavens. She conjures up the images of the spirits, the animal guardians, the spider woman who wove the stars and, in a cloud of snow-white feathers, adorned with turquoise, a moon maiden- the most beautiful woman.

'Seeker' This Medicine man of the Sioux, guided by rituals handed down from one generation to another, focuses his spiritual power into the smoke. As a climax to his conjuring of animal spirits, he evokes the rare and revered White Bison, so rare they are reputed to occur only once in five-million years. Native American Indians consider animals and birds not only to be sacred, but their brothers, each creature having unique power and skills. They believe their Gods placed them on Mother Earth to teach them valuable lessons.
