Chapter two
"Okay,listen up, 7C,' the man with the whistle said.He told us to call him Bob. "Any of you kids totally confident to swim on you'r own?" 'Course we can-it's not like we're babies or anything!'Mandy sneered under her breath. Bob turned to face her. "Alright then.start us off! Let's see what you can do.' "Oh look at me I'm a baby.Mandy said as she stuck her thumb in her mouth as she stepped towards the pool.'i carnet swim!' then she drooped her self side ways into the pool water ,with her thumb still in her mouth Mandy did a stupid babyish doggy-paddle to the end of the pool.When she finished halve of the class were laughing I wasn't Bob wasn't to. "Get out,think that's funny do you" Bob said as his face was turning bright red.when Mandy heaved her self out of the pool as she bowed to the class Bob handed her a towel right you can sit on the side for the rest of the lesson today. 'Why, I didn't do anything wrong.Mandy said with a whiney voice Bob turned his back on her "Right 7C we'll star again. Who's happy to swim sensibly and confidently?' About three-quarters of the class raised there hands,I didn't not after that show. "Alright then you can get in only the shallow end mind you. Il start of with this lot.As Bob turned his back I couldn't help my self as I made my way to the shallow end like some off my class mates mostly boys but who cares.I'v never swum before ,so I shouldn't of had but I just knew I could do it.And the water just looked so beautiful lying there, still and calm waiting for someone to set it alive with ripples and splashes so I dived in it was wonderful it was like I found a new home when I surfaced I heard someone clapping very loudly "brilliant just brilliant that's what you will all be doing when I'm done with you.Bob said nudging other people to clap to but as he did my legs felt like they were sticking together I couldn't feel a thing. WHAT'S HAPPENING?
