This isn't about the warm cozy nights We spend together by the fires light This isn't about the large Christmas trees That's covered in lights and in all shades of green
This isn't about the white winter snow That falls to the ground and on granddads nose This isn't about the large festive tea With a large Christmas cake, for two, or three
This poems about those poor lonely few Who've never had Christmas, who never knew About the warm roast dinner that fathers carving Instead their on the street, cold and starving
It's about those kids where snow isn't good Its about those kids who are stuck in the hood It's about those kids who get no gifts Abd have no family, that will give a shit
So on Christmas Eve when your tucked in bed And your about ready to rest your sleepy head Just spare a thought for those poor few Who are not as lucky as me or you.
