We run too fast that's why we fall. We break our knees but still stand tall. Squeeze our bones and make us small. We'll take what's ours, we want it all.
Push us once, push some more. Clip our wings and watch us sore.
Lock us out, we're on the fringes. We'll kick this door straight off it's hinges.
Box us in, we'll break through. Our time is now, it's overdue.
We're all midgame, you steal the ball. We pull no punches, made to brawl.
We we're born in the cold, that's why we're frozen. Patiently waiting until we're chosen. We may be bruised, but we're not broken. We can't stop, once we're in motion.
Rig the deck, switch our cards. Leave us with unkind regards.
Lie to us, hide the truth. We cut through the deadly noose.
Rob us of our innocence. Bad times give us diligence.
Close your grip, make it tighter. We live for this, we're all fighters.
Try to catch us in your net. You can reap our blood and sweat. You may think the game is set. But we're not done, not now...
Not yet.
