I haven't found the likes of you yet, Nor the reasons I'm ashamed to be brought to the earth.
I was told I would rise up like a Phenix from these ashes, And pieces of those endeavors are failing.
If you told lies all those nights of skylight fevers, Then why do you sit at the edge of the ocean?
To you, I was a mere moment in time Gathering up all your strength.
Now you're this very state of longing I had, And suddenly, it was all a chain link broken.
