I swayed to the rhythm of the blaring music, hypnotized by the sparkling lights. My dress swished at my knees, my hair swung with every shake of my head. I raised my arms in surrender to my fate. In surrender to all that is bigger than me.
In that moment of bliss within my internal abyss, I felt beautiful.
