Lol clever title huh?
So tomorrow is the last day of summer vacation for me, and I'm not sad at all that it's ending. I suppose that's very un-teenager-like of me, but I seriously have had enough. I'm tired of being hot and dehydrated and dealing with this brutal humidity! I seriously empathize for the tennis athletes at the US Open right now.
But anyway, that's why I want fall to happen! I want to wear sweaters and jeans everyday and boots and scarves...fall weather is the best,with the exception of crazy allergies. It's chilly: not warm, not cold. And where I live, all of the leaves change color and then they fall and they crunch underneath my boots on the way to my bus stop...and football (American football) season starts and the high school team here sucks major balls but it's funny to see all the dudes running around in tights and tackling each other...sigh
But for me, personally, this fall is going to be happening! If I figure out how to parallel park, I'll get my license on my birthday, which is in the fall! SAT's are coming up too, which totally stinks but it just means that I'm another step closer to escaping this hell hole small town and on my way to college!
And then there's Halloween! Boy am I excited for Halloween, especially considering that last year the hurricane and early snow totally ruined Halloween. It was really sad. The town moved Halloween to another day and almost no little kids went trick or treating. Hopefully there won't be any freaky weather shiznit going on late October.
Oh, and isn't Oktoberfest in October? I'm pretty sure that's a German drinking holiday but I have no idea...I shall wiki it later...
But the fall also entails fall music festivals (I've seen Blondie and Neon Trees and Ok Go! and The Bravery for free at a fall music festival) and there's street fairs...oh it's so fun!
And don't even get me started on Thanksgiving! Holy shit it's like the ideal holiday. It's all about eating until you become more stuffed than the stuffed turkey that you made. And it's also about giving thanks or whatever lol
Well...I hope I made you realize that although the fall means that school starts up again, there are some pretty wicked shit that goes on that makes the fall fucking fantastic too! :3
