She smelled of vanilla and honey. Sweet. Just like her smile, which was outlined by plump rosy lips.

I bit my own thin lip.

I admired her long eyelashes that shadowed her cheeks, cheeks that were dusted with freckles that crept up to her petite nose.

She tucked a loose strand of her glossy, dark auburn hair behind her small ear, continuing to read aloud from the textbook.

This time, I couldn't pay attention to her lovely voice. I simply continued to admire her beauty: her creamy skin, her slender arms, her clean fingernails, her...

"Hey, c'mon! Focus!," she said, swatting my arm.

I snapped out of my reverie and looked into her beautiful dark brown eyes. "Uh, sorry..." I mumbled.

"Yeah, you should be sorry. Since you haven't been paying attention to this whole first half of the chapter, you'll have to read the rest by yourself. We'll just do the questions before class, okay?" She stood up, blocking the sun as it set into the earth. The rays shone bright around her, illuminating her, giving her the impression of a goddess. "And quit staring at me like that! God!"

Embarrassed, I silently looked down at the book that sat open on the table.

"See you tomorrow, Erin," she said curtly as she walked out of the room, out into the hall, out of the front door of my house, but not out of my mind, nor my heart.

Damn. I was in love.
