Shivering from the cold I feel it nipping at me, I can't feel my toes. Bundling up, But it's not enough.
Trying to create some heat By rubbing my hands together Yet the coldness, I still cannot beat
Standing underneath a scalding shower I've been standing here for about and hour My skin reeks of the body wash's flowers, But I'm still cold.
Cuddling alone underneath my sheets The blankets almost choke me, They are so tight But the cold, I still cannot fight
And then I realize that the coldness is from within I don't remember how the chills had gotten in I just want the coldness to leave Maybe the rekindling flame in my heart will warm things up for me.
