A spark, A spark Within the dark An ember glowing on the hearth, Awaiting care, A breath of air, To fan a flame that all can hark.
A light, A light To pierce the night, To show what's wrong and set it right, To lead the way When timid say It's wiser to bow down to might.
A seed, A seed Among the weeds To sprout and spread, defying greed. A bounty green When times are lean, To share with all in days of need.
A word, A word So seldom heard About this hard and selfish world. To whisper peace, Let struggles cease, And raise our spirits when hope's interred.
A gift, A gift To bridge the rift, To lead our consciousness to shift, Our souls to bind With greater mind, And up to heaven our selves lift.
