Dampened grass glistens in the morning sun As a young girl stands with her hand upraised. The dog is intent and eager to run Through the course that twists and turns like a maze.
"OK!" Bursting off of her coiled haunch With a gleeful yip, she flies through the hoop. Dashing, the girl leads her dog to launch Over jumps as they wheel around in a loop.
Racing through tunnels, and turning again, They flow with an ease, a well practiced pair. Barks of exuberance float on the wind With dancing white paws and bouncing brown hair.
Another clean run, not a jump bar clipped. They both cross the finish with a smiling face. A dazzling time, no obstacle skipped. Two beautiful kids get another first place.
