Insulating mass of fibers holding out the world iPod earbuds trailing wires, nothing else is heard
Pressing through a horde of humans, never looking up Texting, posting, finding romance, all without a touch
Alone in glass and steel cages, sliding past the miles Tinted windows hide the rages that replaced our smiles
Cul-de-sacs with unknown neighbors, fences standing tall Communities of nameless strangers wandering the malls
TV news, talk radio say what you like to hear. Preconceptions reinforced prey on your darkest fears.
