(So much so I admit, I feel quite suspicious) That your loving god hates everything you fear And tells you so in voices that only you can hear.

A universal god, I surely would expect, Would force your mind to broaden, which I don't detect. Rather, all your biases are simply reinforced, Defended with a blood lust for which you've no remorse.

What if there is a standard by which we all are judged? Not one you preselect and preferentially fudge, But something pure and fair enough to apply to all? Don't cast stones when you're hiding inside rubber walls.
