Sitting on a train Going nowhere Fields whizzing by So much out there Face pressing against glass People watching all that pass Daily commuters tapping on their laptop computers

Notebooks tablets PDA phones Some guys stood there like They're made out of stone Reading a book Minding my own Full of pretty pictures I stand alone

If they could only stop Stand still a moment See the world and All she marvels Breathe in the air Stop and stare If only they could care About the environment About the future

Sitting on a train Minding my own Reading a book Waiting for my stop I get off I've reached my destination
