31 January 2013

I woke up, my hair a mess. I opened my eyes a little more, at first it looked like a big blue bubble. I slipped on my glasses and looked at the shape with wide eyes. I screamed inside my thoughts and walked around the newly found TARDIS. I smiled and climbed on top of it as the door opened. I looked down at the man as he said, "Wrong place, again." I winced and reached my hand out.

"Don't go!" I screeched clenching my other hand. The man looked at me with a confused expression.

"Never mind,I think I'm in the right place." The man said with a smile. I smiled back with the least awkward manner possible. "I'm... Adeline." I said looking at him with wide eyes. "And your the doctor and this is the TARDIS, right?" I asked with hope.

He looked at me with surprise,"How do you know that, Adeline?" He asked.

"Books." I answered quickly pushing my glasses into place. I jumped off the vehicle and walked over to the man. "My favorite book is about you." I said, a smile crossing my face.

"And where did you get the book?" He asked another question as I got impatient.

"Sheesh, you ask a lot of questions. It's actually my great granny's diary. It's all about you though. Her name was Rose if you wanted to know that too. She's gone now." I said noticing the man's expression change. "Uh, mum said she loved to travel, I believe that. But I'm a brunette like my pops." I said slowly dragging my large suitcase out with my foot.

"Sweetie, Adeline, who are you talking to!?" Adeline's mother called.

"No one mum!" She answered picking up the suitcase. "Can we go now Mister Doctor Sir." I said pushing the door of the TARDIS open. The Doctor nodded walking in after myself. "It is bigger on the inside! Just like the diary said!" I exclaimed placing my bag on the ground. I walked up to the TARDIS control center. I looked at all of the buttons and switches. "Can we go somewhere?" I said with a giant smile. The man was right next to me. He suddenly gave me a great, big, hug.

"I loved your grand mum." He whispered to me.

"I know." I said trying to look to him. "But maybe you could come back in a decade who knows." I said with a giggle. He laughed with me and lifted the hug. I could see that tears welled up in his eyes. "Let's go to... Scotland 1954." I said pulling a few levers.

"Wait how do-"

"The diary." I said looking over to him.
