Adeline Runs Away V

"Adeline you have to do most of the work this time if you really want that room." The doctor said as we walked through the vast museum. I rolled my eyes and stopped in front of a door.
"Here it is." I said looking at the numbers. It was as dusty as the rest if the other things. I ran my hand over the numbers, clearing the dust from the door. I tried to open the door to find that it was locked. I made a low growl and pulled out the doctors sonic screwdriver. I pressed the button and held it near the lock. It clicked as I tossed the screwdriver back and kicked open the door. The weeping angel stood, head in hands. I walked in not blinking or looking away. "I can't keep my eyes open that long so you can do that part I'll do the rest." I explained looking around the small room. The doctor nodded and I looked at a mirror on the back wall and broke it with one kick. The glass shattered along with the backboard falling to pieces. The space revealed a long tunnel, leading underground. "Surprising," I said looking down into, what looked like a never-ending corridor into well, underground. I took a step inside trying to see what was beneath.
"Um, Adeline, we should go now." The doctor said pushing me downwards, I got only a glimpse of the weeping angel turning towards us.
A little later we were deep in the tunnels. "Doctor are you su-" he put a finger on my lips. I was holding a dim flashlight in my hand that let out, a somewhat amount of light. "I could get my better flashlight." I whispered his finger still trying to keep me quiet. I pulled out a different flashlight and swapped it with the other one. I pressed the switch, a bright light shone down into the abyss. "Well." I said continuing to walk. The corridor seemed never ending. We walked for at least 20minutes until we found a giant underground labyrinth. Filled with mazes, and shelved with old, old books. I squealed as I almost picked one up, the doctor stopping me.
A strange being hovered over. It took my books, a $5 bill, my notes and all the other pieces of writing I had —even my T-shirt tags!— I saddened and the ghostly being spoke in a raspy voice, "Copies will be returned within an hour." And left with my things—as well as the doctors—.
"We're in the library of Alexandria." He said looking around. "A wonderful place, although the price for a book is rather expensive." He said with an odd expression.
I cocked my head, "What do you mean?"
"Well, lets just say it costs your soul." My mouth dropped and he dragged me away. We wandered for awhile, like always. Until we found a certain door.
"Is it just me or is that door glowing?" I asked from a distance. The raggedy man shrugged and we began walking towards it, before I tripped a trip wire of course. We paused for a second as we noticed what I had done. "Oops." I said as we fell into a giant pit. We waited for what seemed like hours until someone popped their head into the pit.
"Hi!" A familiar voice called. Cecilia.

@wannabewriter

I am a total fangirl. If you follow me you might notice some fan-fiction and some straight out, original stories. I really like writing, but I'm not sure I wanna be a writer when I grow up, turning 11 in September, who has two thumbs and deserves a letter from Hogwarts? Anyways, I hope you have a great time reading my stories! Motto: Love, be loved or occasionally dislike ;D P.S. I follow back! <3
