We looked up. I huffed with annoyance. "Doctor meet my cousin. She has a thing for getting lost." I said with an upset face.
"What are you doing down there?" The girl asked.
"DRINKING TEA WHAT DO YOU THINK!" I screamed furiously. The doctor glanced at me then back to Cecelia.
"Excuse me. Could you bring us some rope." The doctor asked politely.
"Fine." The teen sighed and ran off.
"We should have a back up plan. And if you want to use the TARDIS. It's not going to work in here." I said, arms crossed. The raggedy man sat down and I dug through my pack. "I have some fish sticks. Wonder how that got there." I said pulling out a baggie of fish sticks.
The doctor suddenly brightened. "Do you have some custard." He asked sitting up. I pulled out a tupperware of slimy custard and nodded. The doctor took the food and began feasting on my snacks. I kept digging through my pack. I found a roll of cord and looked at it as if I've never seen it. Next I pulled out a sandwich, a pair of boots and a fishing hook. I looked at the cord and fish hook. "Should've looked in there before." I said with a dumbfounded expression. I tied them together and threw it to the top, the fishhook clinging to the stone. I started to climb the rope. I got a foot or two up and looked at the doctor. He nodded and stuffed the bag and tupperware in my pack. I climbed the rest of the way and stood at the top. I stepped on the fishhook to keep it steady. The doctor tried climbing the rope and got about two thirds there before I had to grab his hand and help him up. I rolled up the rope and shoved it in the pack. Cecelia later came holding a thin clear string. She was puffing out exhaustion.
"I got it."
"But we're already up."
She looked at us in realization, "That's what you wanted it for!"
"Yeah." I said nodding slowly.
"We'll why didn't you say so!" She exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and threw the trip wire on the ground. I began leading them through the labyrinth with pride. I stopped.
"The door." I said turning and looking at the door. It had an odd aura that gave off a faint glow. I walked around the pit and placed my ear against the thin door.
There was a quiet ringing that grew louder as if it were coming closer. It got louder and louder and turned into. Screaming.
