Marilyn sat in the attic. She had found it after it had been abandoned. Marilyn fixed it up and cleared out the boxes and had made it her own mural of horror. If you looked at it, it kind of explained her whole personality. Marilyn was working on some art when her mother had interrupted her thoughts, "Marilyn, get down here!" Her mother, Desiree, called.
"JUST A SECOND!" Marilyn screamed in annoyance. Marilyn shoved her brother out of the way as he stumbled, catching his fall.
"Hey, hurt people much?" The 17 year old responded with a snicker.
"Shut up, Glenn, and you can do better." She said, continuing down the stairs. "AND I'M NOT GIVING BACK THAT 20 DOLLARS." She yelled nearly breaking the floor boards. Glenn searched through his pockets anxiously and stopped with a loud sigh.
Marilyn walked down stairs and turned to Desiree, "WHAT!?" She screamed with anger in her eyes. Desiree pointed behind Marilyn with disappointment in her eyes. Marilyn angered fists balling up at her sides. She turned her short, blonde curls trying to keep up with her movements. Marilyn's expression softened as she saw the kind face of Mr. Henchwell, a small bandage across his nose. "Sorry." She said in a strong voice. She stomped outside and sat down on the porch steps, arms crossed.
"I'm sorry about herβ¦" Desiree said calmly. Mr. Henchwell nodded and walked outside and sat next to Marilyn.
"I didn't mean to break your nose, I only wanted to hit a wall or something." Marilyn said turning away from the old teacher.
The old man let out a chuckle, "It's fine. It's not that bad to have your nose broken, it is just cartilage. I could give the class a lesson sometime if you like." Mr. Henchwell said with a warm smile.
"It's okay." Marilyn said holding back a smile, she just didn't want to seem that way in front of people. "But my mom invited you didn't she?" Marilyn asked facing him with a flat expression. The old man nodded and they walked inside, " Small warning, she's not the best cook." She whispered as they sat down at the table. Marilyn was getting better at this friend thing, but she didn't want to lose her roots.

I am a total fangirl. If you follow me you might notice some fan-fiction and some straight out, original stories. I really like writing, but I'm not sure I wanna be a writer when I grow up, turning 11 in September, who has two thumbs and deserves a letter from Hogwarts? Anyways, I hope you have a great time reading my stories! Motto: Love, be loved or occasionally dislike ;D P.S. I follow back! <3
