People always listen to music whether it be on the T.V or radio. What type of music is usually played on a radio or T.V? Mainstream. When you hear mainsteam music, what do you do? You start to like it and then listen to it over and over again. But think about it this way, if you know theres other types of music, why not go for them for? Is it because they make you be, a ceartin sterotype/label for listening to metal or indie etc. well you know what, thats rubbish, absolutley rubbish. Ever since I found out an electro band called 'Breathe Carolina' by chance, my music taste completley changed. All these non stream bands may not be popular, but I know one thing thats for sure... Theyr a whole lot better! All mainstream sing about is based around the same old thing, bands that are non-steam have their own style and different themes. Another thing is that these non-steam bands got their popularity by themselves! Alot of mainstream bands these days have got famous of a T.V show PFFT cough cough 1D cough. I just want to say give non stream bands a chance because I guarantee you, you will understand what I mean when you do. d^.^b
