There was something in the air, like a calm before the storm, like the charge before the lightning, silence, from which, thunders born.

It was the Fimbulwinter, the prelude to the end. Against three long winters of ice and snow, neither man nor beast could defend.

The wisest of the Vitka, in fetch, with Loki spoke, succumbing to the toxins, in the resin, from the smoke.

The Vitka's name was Ülfgar, Soothsayer, Dragon-tooth, he could see the end was coming, so to Loki he sought Truth.

Loki did surrender to Ülfgar, the Ragnarok of the Gods, warned Ülfgar of the Chaos, warned Ülfgar of the floods.

Loki spoke again to Ülfgar, Loki spoke to Ülfgar's note. Loki gave to Ülfgar secrets, how to build the greatest boat.

So with wisdom and with memory, Ülfgar gathered his three sons, and he passed to them his knowledge and the boat building begun.

Made from timber, sealed and lacquered, mast and sail, rows of oars, when the thaw begat the great flood, Loki's promise of new shores.

One boat became seven, and when the Ragnarok came, the waters split to seven seas, the seven ships did the same.

It was by the guidance of Loki, they came to seven shores. Ülfgar and his people, the Seafarers of the Norse.
