Going to Uni, my Nan wanted to make sure I was 'well-fed' so she gave me this recipe for an upside down microwave cake! I hope you all enjoy, it's fab!

Ingredients 4oz of Caster Sugar (normal sugar can also be used!) 4oz of plain flour 4oz of butter (I use "fake butter"!) 2 eggs

Optional: toppings, can use syrup, treacle, honey, but I prefer canned fruit!

Method 1. If using a topping, put it in the bottom of a medium glass bowl. I like arranging the fruit and then adding a bit of the juice. If using syrup add lots!!!

2.Mix the flower, butter and eggs together until creamy. I do this by hand, because I don't have an electric whisk in University!

3. Pour this in the bowl over your topping and then put in the microwave for; 800W about 6/7 minutes 850W FIVE MINUTES only!!

4. Turn the bowl over using a plate and ease the cake out

Now you have a perfect microwave upside down cake!
