I had been dubious about The Hunger Games as a film since I first heard of the project, and I don’t entirely know why.

As Gilderoy Lockhart (aka Kenneth Branagh) once said, “Amazing. This is just like magic!” And I get the feeling Branagh felt the same about his first foray into the wonderful world of CGI.
Upon placing Brothers in my DVD player, my knowledge of the film consisted of the fact that it was a modern war film, starring Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman.
