When I woke up, I felt hung-over. Of coarse, I'm only eleven, but that's what I imagine it feels like. I think I was the last one to wake up because Maya, Alyssa, Kai, and Mason were already up. We were in the same place as before. The white sidewalk lined by dark brown dirt spotted with large bushes with flowers and pebbles. on one side and a black road, glistening in the sun, on the other side. I felt a sharp pain in my calf. Something was hitting it. I sat up to see Alyssa kicking my leg. I smiled. "Alyssa!" I whined. She stopped. "Oh!" Mason sighed in relief, "We thought you were in a coma or something!" I felt peculiar. "I feel funny." I moaned, standing up. "Oh, Camille! What a whiner!" Kai teased, playfully punching my arm. "Welcome to the club." Maya said, "We all feel off." Suddenly, Mason turned into water. Still in his same shape... just water. We were all shocked speechless. I didn't know what to do. Of coarse, Maya wasn't as shocked. She's Maya. "Woah!!" She exclaimed. "How'd you do that?" Mason shrugged. "I just controlled it like it was a part of my body." Kai, the witted, "brave" (or so he thinks), one, wanted to try. He put his tanned hands out, flexing his palms. Fire shot right out of his hands. I could see Alyssa was also getting less surprised. I couldn't see why she wasn't utterly shocked, like I was. "I wanna try!" Maya and Alyssa chimed in unison. Maya went first. She shut her eyes tightly. Rocks, grass, and leaves swirled around her feet. "Awesome!" Maya bellowed. She pushed her palms out towards the ground and all of the stuff stopped swirling and fell. It was Alyssa's turn. Suddenly, the sky looked gloomy and gray. A shot of purple lightning came out of the sky and nearly shocked me. Right before it did, Mason jumped on me, pushing me out of the way of the lightning. "Mason!" I gasped, "Thank you so much!" Alyssa had an 'oops' look on her face. "I guess I need to work on that!" she apologized. "What's your power?" Kai asked, "Whining?" I rolled my eyes. I tried my best to do what they were doing. They're eyes nearly bugged out of their heads in shock when my power was revealed.
