Sometimes I am sad but I smile
Sometimes I am mad but I still smile
Sometimes I can't cope with life but I smile
I just don't get it. I think of the positives and smile
I went to a funeral determined not to smile
It was one of my close friends and we would always smile
So I remembered the times we'd smile
And found I was smiling to myself.
