Note: Chapter I of Wolfpire Chronicles (Book I) The night sky was clear as water. The streets were well lit by the street lamps which showed a dim glow. The cobblestone road showed it's worn out colour (a faded peach colour). The only spund that can be heard is the dripping of the sewage water. Plop, plop, plop it would go as it hits a metal tube. In the middle of the night a tall, caucasian man (which is about 6 feet in length) with a long beard (that reaches the end of his neck), sideburns, and a scar (from what seemed to be a scratch from a dog) which runs from the top of his left eye to the top of his nose (or the bottom of his left eye). He was walking across the cobblestone road carrying a basket in his hand. His face filled with distress. Why? Well, because he was afraid. The tall man was protecting the large basket in his arms.
"Excuse me." an old man with a long beared said with a throaty voice. The tall caucasian man was alarmed. He got a stick from the inside of the basket and pointed it to the bearded man. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." said the bearded man. "Don't make me turn you into a rat" the caucasian man hissed. "That baby can use that wand flawlessly than you." the bearded man mocked. The caucasian man roared in anger and placed the basket on the cobblestone road, flicked the wand and BOOM! The caucasian man came flying to one of the stores and hitted the wall. The old bearded man laughed and picked the wand that he caucasian man used and stored it inside his cloak. "What do you want?!" the caucasian man said irritated. "I only want the same thing you want. To know that he is safe." the bearded man picked up the basket and peeked inside it. There he found a small child sleeping soundly. The man gave the basket to the caucasian man ",remember Lykos he MUST" he pointed out "be safe" he continued. "Don't worry Wimbledon I will keep him safe" Lykos replied. Wimbledon gave a look of securement and vanished into thin air.
"1213 40th house to the left of Gribble street." he said to himself. Lykos looked through the names of the streets in the sign posts: Darble, Pebble, Kibble. Till he finally found Gribble street. he started counting from the first house untill he reached the 40th house. It was an aprtment for oddly, rich people. Lykos could not believe his eyes. "Well" he though to himself. "I guess they're well off." he gave a loud sigh and said "I think you'll have a great life here" he said while looking into the baby (which if any of you readers forgot is inside the basket he was carrying during the entire journey). He held the glass doors knob and as he turned it he realized, it was lock! "STUPID FARGLES!" gibbered Lykos. He reached for the wand he used a moment ago; unfrotunately, IT WAS ALREADY GONE! "SILLY KIBBLE!" he cursed. "Where the bloody rabbit is the kibblish wand?" he asked himself. Suddenly, he remembered his encounter of Wimbledon. "That old coot stole his wand!" he said furiously. "Guess I have no choice" he pointed out ", hold on little fella." he continued. "12th floor 13 room" he memorized. Lykos took a deep breath and began to morph into a werewolf. He jumped from one floor to another. 1st, 2nd, 3rd... 9th, 10th, 11th, and finally the twelvth floor. He continued to the right till he reached the 13th room. To his luck a window was open. He turned back into human. Clothes ripped apart and slid inside the window like a slug. He entered the living room and slowly placed the basket on the couch. "Wait," he said to himslef ,"what if they won't recognize the child" he blurted. So, he got a pice of paper and a pen and wrote a letter. He left it in the coffe table and placed a jade frog on top of the paper so that it wouldn't be blown away by the wind. He bud farewell to the baby and using the open window he went out, closed the window, and used the emergency stairs to go down.
