Frame you confidently.
They know you are art...
A masterstroke in umber
As you read on the windowsill.
Not a quiver in the page
Or a flick of lash
Betrays a lack of acrylic and brush.
Behind you, copper lamplight
Cups you, ringlets lazy in
Pre-thunderstorm heat.
And while around you,
The city dances for attention
Your stillness and beauty
