This shows what amazing talents lurk in the night hours of Opuss. And the day. Well done all!
Big mention to @NickyX who was too late to add his piece to the contest, but wrote the amazing 'Shadows of the Mind' - check it out!
The game was upped. I was tempted to do a final face off between the top two, but they probably have better things to do, so...
In joint third: @sjw with her 'A Tortured Soul' - a vengeful femme fatale with a worrying allure and: @ MelchiorJ13 's tale of 'Paranoia' - a powerful and dramatic write.
In joint first are: @RichWithey with Midnight Tonight, which is a chilling study of terror in all it's forms. So many amazing expressions of the terrible, you'd think he'd been drunk with HP Lovecraft. @VikingHorn with a fresh and clever piece - 'The Relic' which manages to use humour as a twist and still qualify as terror. With such stiff (excuse pun) competition, he has shown a lot of balls (excuse pun) in a hard (excuse pun) contest. You two should be very proud members (you get the idea) of Opuss. Seriously, these pieces are outstanding and of the best Opuss has to offer.
So - you two can fight it out between yourselves as to who chooses the next theme. I'm off to the bar. Tbere's rumours of this vengeful femme fatale... And if all else fails, beer.
