When you are out or sleeping A chuckle gruff and sly Heralds works of mystery Unseen by human eye.

Two little furry hands dart out And steal tv remotes To place them under sofas Then reverse the sleeves of coats.

Pitter-patter, feet sneak by... Your house keys fall in someone's shoe Making tempers fray. We're late! Who hid them. Was it YOU?

The coffee mugs in cupboards sit Balanced just to fall The dog lead's taken from the hook It sits on in the hall.

Who pees all over toilet seats, And steals the toilet roll? Who drops poor Grandad's dentures In the smelly goldfish bowl?

Who? It is The Wozuntme, A common household sprite. It does it's work behind your back Or there! Just out of sight!

The Wozuntme can oft be found In nests of missing socks It takes the batteries from toys, Stains designer frocks.

All the children know this beast, They stand innocently And when the villain strikes again, They point, shout 'Wozuntme!'
