I wanted the night sky glimmering on the lake, I wanted your eyes to look into mine the way mine looked into yours. I needed a man who could wipe my tears away and say just the right things. I wanted a beautiful first kiss, I wanted a beautiful engagement and the most romantic wedding. But now I'm sitting here alone now that I am old and grey without the one i love because you are so far away.
Note: small story about a woman who fell in love but then she gave up her love for a mean and abusive man who she later divorced too and now she's regretting letting her love go.
