Great metaphor about Whites position on drums in the Dead Weather.

If this seems harsh, it’s worth remembering that Jack White gave the world Elephant. Think about the decline in quality over a six-year period. And on drums? Who in their pretty little mind wants to go to a gig and watch Jack White on drums? He’s one of the great guitarists of his generation, for Chrissakes. It’s like bagging a ticket to a Barcelona match only to find they’ve decided to give Lionel Messi a go in goal."
