Probably everyone's heard Ghandi's saying, "live every day as if it was your last". Well, it's good advice. And I've tried to follow it so many times. But there are always those things getting in the way. School, work, calls, homework, and then when you need to relax, it's the end of the day and all you want to do is read a book, watch TV or sleep. It's also a silly statement. Let's say you do. You'll probably skip school or blow off work every day, having fun and spending tons of money. Because you know, you're treating it like your last day. You'll end up with no money, being fired or expelled, and upset. So I'm making a new statement. Every day, look at yourself in the mirror. Think about all the things you're doing that day. Then think, "If I died tomorrow, would I be able to say I had no regrets?" what you want to say is yes, and try say yes. But if you've got work or school, and that isn't what you'd do if it was your last day, it's fine. Just think of how to make it lots of fun while you're there. If you've gone 2 weeks without saying 'yes' once, then you need to go out and have a day of doing what you want. But don't treat every day like your last. Try get all your wishes fulfilled though, so when you have a day when you're not doing what you want, you can still look in the mirror and say yes.
