As a man was beaten, whipped, stripped of his pride. There was a watcher, spectating besides

As mother and child were torn into slavery. He remained motionless, ignorant to all bravery

As we were on the brink of cataclysm, as we were about to die He could do nothing but motionlessly lie

Ages past, wars terrorised People dead, decapitated, disgraced Lifeless bodies scattered in mountain like heaps An abundance of souls for death to reap

For now I was busy Man had destroyed his earth Had destroyed his humanity So I was stupid, In my vanity

I asked "Why have you let Chaos run it's course? Don't you see their suffering, their endless remorse?"

And he replied with a voice commanding "none of this was my demanding, I am good and always shall be But at no point did man ever attempt to see me

They are blind with their hate Of their actions have they earned their fate I have seen, and saw and existed But always was resisted

Never did he put out his hand Never did they give good a chance And so since they failed to see the good Their last sight shall be you hood

Death"

And the moral is "For evil to succeed, the only thing required is for good people to do nothing"
