I hear you breathing.
The regular rhythm of life reverberates through me and reminds me that I'm hollow.
A shallow graven image lying next to your slumbering form;
Empty, soulless, naked and barren.
A smile plays upon your lips as you dream,
Perhaps of lost kisses and the immaculate midnight embrace.
My body calls out for you,
Wanting to consume you,
Engulf your entire being in the void of my soul.
The magic of this dreamtime,
As you sleep and I watch you,
Seems an eternity;
Toying with thoughts to deep to reveal.
Ideas mix with memories and my mind trips to a different beat.
Not the regular, life giving rhythm of your breath.

Ink and steel, drunk and stroppy... Life should not be feared when you have the words to tame all...
