Imagining is one thing and reality is another

Real as she gets she gets me like no other

Trying to live up to her but there's no space at the top

So I pull out all the stops And she holds out her hand

Tell me there's no reason to go so hard If you just have your own plan

But I been watching her since the beginning

And even that has to end

So what's the world really like if what I see is pretend
