In the last year, as my #CRPS has got worse, I've looked for a hobby to busy my mind whilst home alone. There is only so much Xbox 360 I can play.

Since I was a boy, I've had a passion for Baseball. This was before I even went to America and played a game with local kids. But being in the UK, I didn't think there was much chance of playing Baseball, let alone watch it. But since the advent of broadband and Apple TV, I have been able to watch the MLB at home.

I started watching last summer and followed with a fascination of a newby right up to the World Series in November. Over the off season, I read numerous books about baseball and heard lots about Fantasy Baseball. I soon got the idea and looked to create a team and join a team. I had to wait till the new season and managed to get on to a league ran by baseballGB.co.uk, a british website for baseball fans (both British and MLB).

I went through the process of choosing my players and ended up with some good players (and some bad picks, but not bad for a newby).

Last week was the beginning of the season. I was matched up against another British Baseball fan, one who knew what he was doing. I didn't feel confident. But happily, I won 7 out of 12 categories. I can only hope my players keep doing well.
