Firstly, thanks to @crowncottage and @milkeyedmender for the support and courage. I've told my friend I like her but, as the title suggests, it's not meant to be; I'm just a friend to her. I have found my closure and can now move on. The best thing is that she won't avoid me and still is my best friend. So, really, from the bottom of my heart, thanks guys.
And also, to the rest of you who gave inputs in the comments, I really appreciate it very much.
